New article: the marketing of surveillance technology for people with dementia and carers.

Finally, I can share my latest article with you.

In this article we reviewed marketing materials of surveillance products for people with dementia and their carers in three ageing countries. In short, we did a dementia-technology media analysis. Or in less fancy words: we looked online how surveillance is being sold in the UK, Sweden, and the Netherlands.

What do all countries have on common? sell your trackers to use on dogs and people with dementia!

 

Can’t wait to share with you what the experiences and needs are from people living with dementia and family or friends towards surveillance and these portrayals.

I’m very grateful to all the people that have contributed. My collegues, supervisors, and especially the carers and people living with dementia who volunteered to comment on this study.
