Conference month-May #2

Second up: The 11th World Conference of Gerontechnology – held in St Petersburg, USA. This year’s theme is Evolving Designs for Our Future Selves. Click here for the full program.

Will present my paper ‘Surveillance for dementia safety: unclear categories and poor designs’ on the 9th of May.

I have the opportunity to give a paper presentation at the International Society for Gerontechnology (ISG), 11th World Conference of Gerontechnology, 2018 held in Florida, USA. It is my pleasureto present the first results from a study that we have recently completed. A study that explores how surveillance technologies in the field of dementia are marketed, and how this impacts the needs of people with dementia and carers.

Thanks to many travel grants, I can attend and discuss my european research. After all, dementia is a global problem!
